I like putting big ideas to paper—and blog posts and tweets.

About me

I’m a writer and editor based in New York with a focus on film, food, arts, and culture.

Growing up in Vancouver, Buenos Aires, and South Florida has given me a love of travel and a burning curiosity for all things new. From a young age, I would put my experiences to paper in short stories, poems, newspaper articles, Lisa Frank diaries that I’ve since lost. Words are how I’ve come to process the world around me.

They’re what led me to the University of Pennsylvania and then to The New Yorker, where I managed the magazine’s social media presence, growing it three-fold over the course of two years. Words are the reason I landed at the University of Oxford to pursue a Master’s in film criticism, and at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where I spent four years shaping the digital voice of the organization.

Words have led me here, to this corner of the Internet. Welcome.

Art & Culture Writing

For Vogue, I interviewed photographer Peggy Nolan on motherhood and creativity. For The Cut, I interviewed artist Cassi Namoda on what it means to be a painter and gallerist Mariane Ibrahim on how she gets it done. For ELLE, I wrote about Daisy Jones & the Six, the series and novel.

For The Infatuation, I interviewed Miami bakers about their thoughts on the “best” bagel. For Zagat Stories, I spoke with chef Niven Patel about his farm and coping in the early days of Covid-19; I also interviewed Zak the Baker on how he’s bringing bread to pandemic Miami. I wrote for Heated about the birthday cake of my childhood, made with Argentine cookies called chocolinas and a simple recipe.

Newsletter

Every week, I share the things on the Internet I find interesting: an article, a recipe, a toaster oven, a pair of shoes. I call it All’s Well. Sign up if you like—or just peruse.

Personal Essays

I’ve written for Atelier Doré on a number of subjects, including my experience WWOOFing on an Italian vineyard and a formative sibling trip to the Catskills.

Beauty Writing

For Doré, I interviewed experts to debunk common hair myths and also to answer all our questions around hair removal.

Sustainability

I’ve written dozens of articles for a California-based compostable packaging company about issues in the environmental space, ranging from efforts to feed the hungry with Super Bowl leftovers to an ambitious plan to plant one trillion trees.

Video Vignettes

I creative produced a video series that ran during the 90th Oscar Nominations Announcement. In each spot, actors demonstrate the art of filmmaking, through the lens of production design, cinematography, sound, animation, original score, visual effects, film editing, and makeup and hairstyling.
